Blog Post 37. Managed Forex Account Weekly Update

This weekly performance update discusses the status of various currency positions. USDSGD shows oversold conditions with potential gains toward 1.30. AUDCHF benefits from substantial swaps and requires patience. USDCAD remains fluctuating, with one position closed. A reminder about the July 1st increase in the minimum account balance for new clients is included.

Weekly Performance Update

USDSGD
The market remains oversold, with support holding near 1.2760. After testing last week’s high of 1.2895, it is finishing the week near 1.2870. Given the sustained oversold conditions, a measured move toward 1.30 appears realistic, which would place all our small positions in profit.

AUDCHF
True to its reputation, AUDCHF continues to move slowly. The positive swaps accumulating in our account are now substantial, adding approximately 1% in incremental profit while also lowering our average entry price. Patience remains key with this trade—something I have no issue maintaining.

USDCAD
Our legacy USDCAD positions are still fluctuating. Today, I closed one of the three positions. If USDCAD resumes its upward move, that would be ideal; however, if it retraces lower, I will look to re-add the final third position.

Upcoming Change: Minimum Account Balance
A quick reminder that July 1st marks the increase in the minimum balance for new clients from €5,000 to €10,000. This adjustment reflects the seriousness with which I approach trading and ensures that new clients share the same level of commitment.

Wishing everyone a pleasant weekend.
