Weekly Trading Update — Progress, Positioning & Perspective

Hi all,

As we move through March, performance remains steady:

  • Month to date: +1.75%
  • Year to date: +8.6%

The full Q1 2026 report will be shared with the client group next week, providing a more detailed breakdown of performance and positioning.

Market Focus: AUDNZD

Over the past week, AUDNZD has pushed to fresh highs. However, the structure into the weekly close is becoming more constructive, with price finishing closer to the lows of the week.

While short-term movement is always fluid, the broader plan remains unchanged:

We will be exiting AUDNZD exposure and returning the portfolio to cash.

This reflects a disciplined approach — not reacting emotionally to price, but following a predefined strategy as conditions evolve.

Blackwave Account Progress

On the proprietary side, continued growth combined with a modest additional allocation means the account is now within approximately €9,000 of the €100,000 level.

That milestone is important — not as a vanity metric, but as a signal of:

  • Consistency
  • Recovery after drawdown
  • Forward momentum

It represents the ability to navigate volatility while continuing to move equity higher over time.

Alignment & Approach

As always, I am trading my own capital alongside client funds.

This alignment is central to Blackwave.

The approach is not designed to appeal to everyone. It requires:

  • Patience during periods of drawdown
  • Discipline when markets become extended
  • A long-term perspective over short-term noise

But for those aligned with it, the objective remains clear:

Steady compounding and consistent forward progression of account equity.

Closing Thoughts

Markets will always fluctuate. Periods of pressure are part of the process.

What matters is maintaining structure, discipline, and perspective — and continuing to execute with consistency.

If you understand the process, you know where to find it.
